Visiting The Centre

You can stay at the Centre as a visitor, if you are not planning to do a full day retreat practice schedule. The suggested donation for a visitor stay is £25/night. Visitor stay is self-catering. We don’t take same day bookings. All visitors are expected to follow 5 Buddhist Golden Rules during their stay.

You can stay at the Centre for a short time as a volunteer. The suggested donation is £10/night and includes breakfast & lunch. Volunteer stay includes 4-5h volunteering / day, 5 days a week. Please read more from HERE.

You can come to do a personal retreat at the Centre. The suggested donation is £15/night for a retreat (requirement is minimum 6h practice / day). Read more about the personal retreats HERE.

The Centre is open 2pm-5pm Tuesday - Saturday for visitors. If you wish to have a little tour around the Centre, or talk to a member of our team / the teacher, it is important that you let us know when you are planning to visit. Email palpungukoffice@gmail.com or call / text 07853934183.

All who participate the Centre, whether it being just a day visitor, a personal retreat stay, or volunteering are requested to follow the 5 Buddhist precepts during their stay:
No killing, act of violence, or threatening behaviour
No stealing or taking what is not given
No sexual misconduct; respecting everyone’s emotional and physical boundaries
No lying, gossip, hurtful or abusive speech
No intoxicants (we have zero tolerance for drugs & alcohol during the visits or stay)
